Show for all audiences, 4 years +

For over twenty years, Sylvie Gosselin has been combining her two artistic sensibilities—theatre and visual art. An actress and visual artist, she created La couturière with Jasmine Dubé in 2004, Contes Arbour in 2013, Histoires d’ailes et d’échelles in 2018, and Renard Doux in 2023.

Her strong attachment to theatre is always reflected in her visual artwork. Each of her creations is a world in itself, a miniature theatre where she enjoys playing with characters, words, shapes, colours, and light. Her shows, for audiences aged 4 to 104, focus on themes of memory, transmission, and the power of imagination. Using set designs that feature paintings, drawings, and combinations of recycled objects, she tells stories that reach out and tug at the audience’s heartstrings.
