Since its premiere, this take on A Midsummer Night’s Dream has been an absolute hit, packing houses night after night and charming absolutely everyone—from the Avignon Festival to the World Festival of Puppet Theatres in Charleville-Mézières, France.
A sprightly, poetic comedy and fairy tale vaudeville, A Midsummer Night’s Dream whisks the audience straight into the heart of a Shakespearean forest where passions, secrets, and romantic intrigues intertwine in a whirlwind of activity performed by a cast of excentric elves and fairies.
In this enchanted realm, where social rules and conventions no longer apply, the imagination runs free and opens doors to all kinds of explorations of identity and desire. Puppetry reveals its full potential: the boundaries between masculine and feminine are playfully blurred with humour and whimsy, in a performance where familiar reference points are upended.
Somewhere between illusion and reality, dream and lie, this romantic mayhem ends up being a cathartic experience—for the characters and the audience alike.
A queer, comical, and thoroughly delightful puppet theatre version — La Terrasse
Heads up, this is a masterpiece! The actors are all stunning and extraordinary (…) Our joy never fades. — Toute la culture

Company
Founded in Brussels in 1993, the Point Zéro theatre company created some twenty notable productions to date, winning several awards in Belgium and internationally. Among its notable works are Yvonne, Princesse de Bourgogne, Le Fou et la Nonne, Les trois vieilles et L’Herbe de l’oubli.
Well established as part of the Brussels theatre scene, the company is now based at Le Ressort, a former industrial site dedicated to performing arts research and creation. With its distinctive visual signature, Point Zéro has been touring festivals around the world for several years
The company’s artistic work explores the relationship between actor and puppet, between the animate and the inanimate. Through its productions, Point Zéro probes the boundaries of the body—the frontiers between human and object, life and inertia—in a poetic investigation of the body in transformation, the symbolic, and the monstrous.
