Casteliers invites families to the Maison internationale des arts de la marionnette (MIAM)!

Experience a family-friendly intercultural event over coffee in the context of a puppet-making workshop.

A great opportunity for local families to meet families who have recently settled in Montréal, and who are receiving support from the Promis organization.

 

Puppet-making workshop: The Domestic Elf, led by Flavia Hevia.

Create a rod puppet that is meant to help bring prosperity and to welcome new households. A great opportunity to share a family-friendly, artistic moment!

ME (Marionette of Emotions) Workshop

This unique workshop combines dance, music, and puppetry, and offers a creative and original way to explore the subject of emotions. Participants are invited to discuss different aspects related to dealing with emotions and to explore various positions and movements.

After a short demonstration with the little ME puppet moving to original music, composed for this project, participants are invited to put into practice what they have learned by helping little ME find the words to express what it is feeling.
