Boj loves his mommy. Boj also loves his daddy: his lovable, huggable daddy. But is the man standing before really his father? The little boy is always on alert, never quite sure. He can’t discuss anything. He has to stay out of the way. Because at given moment, he might provoke the monster living inside his dad. A monster that lives somewhere in a deep dark cave, behind his father’s voice. A monster that sometimes takes over his father’s body: the hommencolère (angryman).

Presented in collaboration with Option and Service d’aide aux conjoints (SAC), members of the À CŒUR D’HOMME network

THE COMPANY

Le Bureau – Firme théâtrale produces and performs theatrical events and organises cultural mediation workshops. Their shows are inspired by non-theatre related works that have a dramatic premise the company believes should be shared.

Le Bureau was co-founded in January 2009 by three artists (creators and producers): Mathieu Leroux, Gabrielle Néron and Antoine Touchette, after having collaborated on a number of projects with different companies. Their first production, Encore une fois sur le fleuve, was perfomed in a number of venues between 2008 and 2011 (FAIT, Festival de théâtre de rue de Lachine, Théâtre de la ville, etc.), and was awarded three Coup de cœur mentions at the 2010 Vue sur la relève event.
