Casteliers and Grandes Oreilles present Arcade, le musicien coquin, as part of the 5th edition of Grandes Oreilles

In my backpack, there’s a robot musician… OK, but what’s his mission?

To present a variety of colours and shapes in association with sound effects, while listening to music that young children will be able to recognize.

A story where shapes, colours and sounds intermingle and where the very young can discover a musical instrument with a thousand sounds!

Running time: 25 minutes

Techniques: Image theatre and music

Thierry Champs is a professional trumpet player and teacher.

As a musician, he enjoys a distinguished position in the Montréal musical scene, where his precise and supple playing, his assured technique and his artistic sensitivity have led him to work with the best in his profession.

As a teacher, he is recognized as one of the most experienced of his generation. Thierry Champs has been a professor at the Université du Québec à Montréal since 2011 and director of undergraduate music programs since January 2014.
